US Market Trading - things to note

Complete items 1 and 2 below to trade US markets.

1. Login to POEMs, under Acct Mgt, Online Form, complete the US Tax form – W8Ben

2. To view live prices, pls go to Market Data & Rewards, to subscribe for US live prices (Non-Pro)

3. Note that there are custody fees of $2.14 per counter, be waived if there are 2 trades per month or 6 trades per quarter in the trading ac.

4. Trades of same side are not amalgamated. Eg. If buy 1 share at $2, and another buy at $2.10, it be treated as 2 contracts and subject to per min brokerage.

5. Commission for US trades will depend on ac types. Ranges from 0.3% min US$20 to flat rate of $10.88 (subject to changes, pls refer to terms and conditions).

Complete the W8 Ben form below

• Part 1 section 1,2,3 and 8 (green circled)

• Leave the rest blank

• Part 3, tick all boxes

2) How to subscribe US Live Price - online, or via Poems 3.0 mobile app > Me

• Select Market Data & Rewards < New Subscriptions

• Choose US - Amex_Nasdaq, NYSE live price for Non-Pro (free)

• Click on checkbox (yellow circled) and complete questionnaire. Click Submit (First time)

• Once back on this page, click on Submit (2nd time) button at bottom of the page

• You will be prompted to key in your password and Confirm
